Qualifying Criteria

The approval process consist of a Committee made up of Trustees, Management Staff, and Residents to consider detailed applications made by employees for a specific need. Specific qualifying guidelines are established by the Committee for granting gifts.

Qualifying

Criteria

Qualifying staff includes employees in good standing with King’sBridge and its contracted partner employees (e.g. Food Service Contractor, etc.). Other criteria include:

  1. Qualifying employees must have a demonstrated history of exemplary employment.
  2. Employee’s level of income and financial need is a major factor in qualifying.
  3. Employee must have experienced extenuating circumstances affecting their finances.
  4. Employee may be required to attend a financial life skill or debt counseling class.

Process to be

Approved

  1. An application must be completed and turned into the employee’s supervisor.
  2. The employee must be recommended by their supervisor.
  3. Application for assistance with supervisor’s recommendation is given to the Employee Assistance Program Committee for evaluation.
  4. The employee may be interviewed by a member or members of the Committee.
  5. A decision is made by the Committee and employee is notified.
  6. As part of the decision, a written explanation is provided detailing the plan of assistance being approved or the reason for denial of assistance.
