At King’sBridge we have many ways that our supporters can both honor what matters most to them - and make a meaningful difference for our employees and residents in the Community.
From donated funds, financial assistance is made by King’sBridge directly to a confirmed entity versus reimbursement to an employee or direct payment to an employee. Examples of Bridge the Gap assistance include the following:
*Housing Provided by King’sBridge
Finding affordable housing is a very real and serious concern for King’sBridge hourly workforce. In accordance with the above guidelines and Program purposes, King’sBridge recognizes that current rental housing for our workforce has undergone a sharp increase in rental rates. Increases in housing costs have left a small number of employees without safe and adequate housing. King’sBridge has apartments within two miles rented as corporate leases that save qualifying employees significantly on the cost of transitioning (i.e. deposits) to safe housing. When King’sBridge management team learns of employees that are in genuine need, the manager engages the employee in a process to apply for support in the Bridge the Gap program. The King’sBridge Community of residents, families, partner corporations and other staff can address this need by helping provide safe and affordable housing, as well as retain employees.
