This day-long event seeks to answer the question about how people are living alone with cognitive impairment and will convene colleagues from the field that have developed solutions for supporting them.
We will feature conversations with persons who are navigating life with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia, an overview of the numbers and types of single person households they live in, health and social risk factors such as social isolation, and ethical dilemmas to consider. Solutions providers from social services, health care and technology sectors will be featured.
This important day-long summit coincides with the approaching opening of a specialized Dementia Care Facility within the King’sBridge Retirement Community.
